Born in South Korea, Dr. Kim first moved to the U.S. with his grandparents to study abroad at the age of 11. With much anticipation, he soon assimilated to the Greater Seattle area and quickly came to call the place his home. He attended Kings Schools for grades 6-12 and earned both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees at the University of Washington.
Dr. Kim’s passion initially lay in medicine, out of respect for his father who dedicated his life to its advancement. But it was his experience in dental mission trip and shadowing that truly taught him the joy of serving people and making a positive impact on their lives. Ever since, Dr. Kim is driven by his commitment to provide personalized care through long-term, personal relationships with each patient, not only to fulfill their immediate, clinical needs, but also to enrich their lives.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kim loves traveling abroad with his wife, trying out local culinary delights to add onto their experience. Dr. Kim also enjoys weight lifting, bowling, and golfing as his pastimes.
